OXFORD
One of the most visited and historic cities in Britain and home to the famous University, founded originally in the twelfth century with the oldest college going back to 1249 and described as the “City of Dreaming Spires”.

CHRIST CHURCH COLLEGE
The grandest of all the colleges is Christ Church, home to Oxford’s cathedral and the university’s largest quad. Many of the scenes in the Harry Potter feature films are shot in various locations of the College. This continues Christ Church’s long association with children’s literature – Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland were inspired and written here by Lewis Carroll. If you enjoyed the film or the books, come and soak in the atmosphere of a real Hogwarts. The Great Hall was replicated in the film studios to create Hogwart’s Hall.

STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Rejoining the coach we travel through the unspoiled beauty of the Cotswold Hills enjoying the delightful picturesque little towns of Woodstock and Long Compton before arriving in Stratford-upon-Avon, a delightful market town at the edge of the Forest of Arden and the birthplace of the world’s greatest writer, William Shakespeare.
We visit the actual Birthplace, which remains one of the most visited and evocative attractions in the world. The spacious town-centre home where Shakespeare was born has been newly refurbished to an exceptional standard. Recreated in the style of the Elizabethan original, the Birthplace features a typical parlour, hall, bedrooms, kitchen, buttery, and the glove maker’s workshop used by Shakespeare’s father, John. Your visit includes the Shakespeare Exhibition – an introduction to his life, work and times and a beautiful traditional English garden.

WARWICK CASTLE, BRITAIN'S GREATEST MEDIAEVAL EXPERIENCE -On the banks of the River Avon, stands a magnificent example of an English castle.
