Safe travels with Readybus

Keeping everyone safe

The health and safety of our passengers and employees is our number one priority. We have therefore reviewed our 'business as usual' operations and we have made some changes following government guidelines and guidance from public health authorities to ensure high levels of hygiene and safety can be maintained for everyone travelling with us during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis and beyond.

Safety and hygiene

  • All employees will be temperature checked before the start of every shift

  • All employees will be encouraged to wash their hands regularly during their shift for 20 seconds with soap and water and dry them properly

  • Where hand washing is not possible, sufficient hand sanitiser is available in all of our vehicles to enable passengers/drivers to clean their hands

How our vehicles have changed

  • We have assigned drivers to specific vehicles

  • Where possible, to encourage ventilation the air conditioning on all of our vehicles will be in use at all times whilst in operation

  • All vehicles are fitted with PEPA-F antiviral filters

Keeping our vehicles clean and sanitised

  • All employees will be encouraged to wash their hands for 20 seconds with soap and water and dry them properly before boarding any of our vehicles

  • All of our vehicles carry a kit of cleaning supplies to maintain our required standards, these kits include gloves, disposable aprons, disinfectant and antibacterial cleaning wipes

  • Increased cleaning of our vehicles will be carried out - this will include a daily deep clean of the drivers area and objects and surfaces that are touched regularly, such as buttons to open doors, door handles, hand rails, locker handles, armrests, headrests, seatbelts, tables, hard floors and vehicle keys

  • Adequate disposal of cleaning equipment will be available on board all of our vehicles

  • In addition to manual cleaning of our vehicles all of our vehicles will receive a fogging sanitisation at the beginning and the end of each day. By using a fogging machine disinfectant is more comprehensively delivered across the whole vehicle ensuring a higher efficiency of disinfection

  • At the end of each day all waste and belongings will be removed from all vehicles
